Botanical Mandala Notebook Cover Illustrations

BRIEF: During Lockdown 2020, our overall mental, emotional and physical wellbeing was challenged and I decided to design a project that would help people stay resilient during these times and nourish their overall wellbeing through Notebooks needed for journalling, drawing, list making etc... As our freedom to travel and being in nature was restricted,
I took inspiration from the wellbeing benefits of the beauty of nature drawn from the Balinese culture.
A SET OF 3 NOTEBOOKS with Hand-painted illustrational botanical mandalas was created.
I used ink-coloured pencils, and gouache with a joyful, positive colour palette.

PRINT SPECS

  • An uncoated recycled paper was carefully selected to care for the planet.

  • 90gsm paper lined and blank pages

  • An uncoated ribbed belly band was chosen for a luxurious tactile feel.
